Hey Tassie,
Matt here, and I’m pumped about all the future holds for the Church and your Youth Ministry. Each month we see great steps of faith being taken and I believe that we are seeing a new season of faithfulness and fruitfulness.
I’m here to declare that we won’t be still, we won’t be silent and we won’t go quietly. Youth Alive is about championing you to live radically in an overly comfortable world. – Are you ready? Life is short, and the time is now!
We are amazed at how you serve, how you love and encourage young people, and how you constantly see treasure and jewels in broken and desperate situations. You are heroes and we are proud of each and every one of you. If Karen or I can serve in any way please let me know.
Statistics tell us that there are over 65,000 young people aged between 5-14 years old and over 60,000 aged between 15-24 – that’s 125,000 people who we are called to reach, influence, challenge, love, champion, save, share with, to secure, embrace, care for!
We have another great year ahead of us with Youth Ministry Schools (North and South), Schools Tours with Jonnday and Everyday Process, plus a visit from the one and only Reggie Dabbs in September. The dates are all out for 2011 and we will kick-start 2012 with Summer camp – look out.
Come on Tassie – the King had said GO and I will be with you – that’s good enough for me and my house!! Lets do it together….
